Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. Our own servers do not keep a copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond to that request.
Routine Technical Logs
Our host may record ordinary server information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time stamps. We review it in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which San Pablo directory pages are used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use the Data
Limited technical and message data is used to operate the pages, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual user profiles from this information.
Links and Outside Services
Pages may link to San Pablo, Contra Costa County, and California records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Each outside service sets its own privacy terms, which govern information submitted there. Sponsored results are supplied by a separate provider and are subject to that provider's practices.
Who May Process It
Hosting and other service providers may process server logs while they support the site. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the routine technical data described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise limit disclosure to operating the service and answering a message.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for as long as the purposes above require. Because there are no accounts, this site does not hold a password or user profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
San Pablo Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor may have sent information, contact us so the limited material can be reviewed and deleted.
Your California Privacy Choices
Where it applies, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., gives covered consumers rights to know or access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive equal treatment, subject to exceptions. Because this service keeps little information, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
California law excludes information lawfully made available from government records from the CCPA definition of personal information. A request to this site therefore cannot erase a Contra Costa deed, assessment roll, voter record, court file, or San Pablo city record. The custodian controls correction, certification, access, and any lawful withholding. California's DROP process under the DELETE Act, Civil Code §§1798.99.80 et seq., lets a resident send a deletion request to registered data brokers through the California DROP portal; that process addresses broker-held copies, not government records. The Secretary of State's Safe at Home program, under Government Code §§6205 et seq., can provide eligible participants a substitute mailing address and confidential forwarding, but it does not erase historic records. Contact the relevant custodian for a current California record question.
Policy Updates
Changes to this policy will be posted here. Continued use of the service after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
